DAT Members
The Birmingham Drug Action Team is one of the largest DATs in the country is led by the Drug Strategic Manager, David Reilly who works across the whole of the Birmingham Community Safety Partnership (BCSP) linking the drug issue to other areas of the BCSP.
The Birmingham DAT has three Lead Commissioners:-
Lead Commissioner for Drug Treatment Services (Helen Cochrane) - Commissioning drug treatment services for both Young People and Adults within the area of Birmingham.
Lead Commissioner for Children & Young People (Robin Thompson) - Commissioning educational and preventive services for young people and working alongside the Lead Commissioner for Treatment in relation to treatment for young people.
Lead Commissioner for Community Engagement & Empowerment (Elizabeth Lawson-Bennett) - Commissioning services which encourage the involvement of local community and local community organisations, working closely with other sections of the BCSP.
