Groups for Service Users & Carers

There are a range of groups that service users can get involved in - both to provide support to each other and to have feedback that is vital for the development of services.

Support Groups

There are held in places where people who use or may have used drugs can meet and support each other.  Some of these groups are for clients of a particular service.

If you are interested in this type of group please check directly with the group for further information.  It should also be recognised that some of these groups make abstinence a condition of attendances - please check this before joining a group.

Support Groups for Carers and Families

There are support groups for people who may be affected by another person's drug use such as family or friends.

Service Users Involvement groups

There provide an opportunity for our clients to play a part in helping us to develop services by giving us their views and suggestions.  These groups also offer support and education for service users wherever possible.
